Our 4th game of the season against good friends De La Salle set up another chance to push on against the league leaders.

With the game being a friendly it was a perfect opportunity to try new things, so Seven Hills set up the game in a new formation - 352.

A strong opening for Seven Hills saw some good pressure going forward and an early cross from Joe was deflected and looped over the De La Salle keeper. 1-0 to Seven Hills.

But after this, the game became a little more end to end, with both teams seeming to play quite direct.

De La Salle, hit Seven Hills on a break to draw level at 1-1, but it didn't last for long. Some great hold up play by Jared from a square ball from Sme, saw the ball slotted home to make it 2-1.

Again the lead wasn't to last long, with a ball played across the Seven Hills box and turned in. 2-2.

Seven Hills keeper would then take a knock with a bang to the head needing immediate rest following concussion guidelines. So Marsh would be subbed out for JT to step into goal again.

Late in the half Seven Hills, under heavy pressure, played a long ball forward to Joe who was clipped by the De La Salle CB in the box. Penalty. Cooly converted by T.

Half time score, 3-2 to Seven Hills.

The second half started strong for De La Salle, but with a few injuries mounting, including a forced change of keeper forced them to change their formation a little. And this worked.

Seven Hills started to be under heavy pressure from De La Salle's forward line, with some great hold up play from their forward, who was proving tricky.

And from a nothing situation, a ball played across the box and turned home. 3-3.

Almost from the kick off, De La Salle picked up the play and pressed forward again, and from another low pressure situation outside the box, saw a swivel, turn and shot through the group of players and hit the back of the net. 3-4 to De La Salle.

As the game wore out, Seven Hills struggled to get a grip back and another counter attack was converted with ease to make it 3-5. which would be the final score.
