An away fixture against a team at a much higher level saw Seven Hills succumb to a 12-0 drubbing.

The first half started well, with both teams seemingly evenly matched for the opening 20 minutes.

Some sloppy defending resulted in WH Crookes winning a freekick at the edge of the box, which taken quickly was roundly converted.

Seven Hills battled on, and developed some good chances but more mistakes and weak goals were conceded.

4-0 at half time somewhat flattered WH Crookes, and Seven Hills could have gone in with a goal or two.

But the second half WH Crookes stepped up a gear and Seven Hills almost gave up… with goals being fired in from all over the pitch.

12-0 the end result.
